. . . . Speaking of Clarion, have you ever come across the reference to in Vol. iii, Secret Doctrine (the one published by Besant after H.P.B.'s death)? On page 562 & 563 is as follows: "There is now a planet, the 'mystery planet', behind the moon, and it is gradually dying. Finally the time will come for it to send its principles to a new Laya Center, and there a new planet will form, to belong to another solar system, the present mystery planet then functioning as a moon to that new globe. This moon will have nothing to do with our earth, though it will come Within our range of vision.
"I have wondered, if this be the case, if these people from Clarion could be inspecting Earth, with thought of future residence. The ones not in interplanetary nirvana could possibly be desirous of leaving their dying planet soon. I would be interested in receiving any information you might have regarding this. . . . . . . .
"The 'great separation' or day of judgment could be coming up soon, rather than in the Fifth Round. From the book 'The Solar System' I find: 'The Fourth Round being especially destined to the development of the desire-principle in man, it is only in the next or Fifth Round that man is intended to devote himself to the unfolding of intellect. Owing, however, to the stimulus given by the Lords of the Flame, the intellect has already been considerably developed, and we are therefore a whole Round in advance of where we should have been but for Their help.
"It tells how after the 'great separation' the surroundings will be specially adapted for the rapid progress of the more advanced egos, and wholly unsuitable for entities at a much lower stage of evolution.
"This all ties in with the Bible, too. I find in St. Luke: Chapter 21; 'Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines, and pestilence, and fearful SIGHTS and GREAT SIGNS shall there be FROM HEAVEN. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the POWERS OF THE HEAVENS SHALL BE SHAKEN. And then shall they see the SON OF MAN** COMING IN A CLOUD WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY. And when these things begin to come to pass, THEY LOOK UP, and LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, for your REDEMPTION draweth high."

"I suppose you have considered the possibility also of the Star of Bethlehem, being an 'aeroform'. St. Matthew: Chapter 2, Verse 9 --- 'When they had heard the King, they departed and lo, THE STAR, WHICH THEY SAW IN THE EAST, WENT BEFORE THEM, TILL IT CAME AND STOOD over where the young child was.'
"To go back to the 'judgment day', Dr. Brunton (who I feel to be an Adept) says that what is to take place has not been equalled since post-Atlantean times and that after this series of events have taken place and the climax of the violence ceases, materialism will sink exhausted and the mystics of the world will come forth to take their place. (This all points to the day of 'separation' predicted for the Fifth Round, but stepped up to this, the Fourth Round.)
"In 'The Solar System' I found something that ties in with your theory. 'Before our solar system came into existence there existed the ultimate root-matter, the substance out of which will be fashioned every type of matter of which we have any knowledge. This root-matter is what scientists call the ether of space, and what has been described in Occult Chemistry under the name of koilon (Greek Koilos, hollow).
"This must not, of course, be confused with the etheric matter which composes the finer part of our physical world.
"To every physical sense, the space occupied by koilon appears empty: yet in reality this ether is far denser than anything of which we can conceive. Professor Osborne Reynolds, the originator of the celebrated theory, which agrees with occult investigation, defines its density as being 10,000 times greater than that of water, and its mean pressure as 750,000 tons to the square inch'". . . . . . .

(Excerpts from correspondence of above Associate, Patricia Sherrick: ----- "December 10, 1953 -- 6:30 P.M. on, until 1:00 A.M., I saw many objects which I think were 'Saucers' in the sky. My husband, mother and daughter also viewed them. About 9:00 o'clock a group flying in a formation went over, the rate of speed was faster than any jet, and there seemed to be at least twenty-four in the group. The solo 'Discs' seem to begin cruising about, around 6:45 P.M., for I have seen them several times, pass about that time. Perhaps they become more visible after it has grown dark, otherwise I would see them before that time. It appears that they have two yellowish lights and two red lights that seem to flicker. When they move they have absolutely no sound; when they move rapidly they appear greenish in color. I have only seen one over Columbus up until December 9th, but December 10th I must have viewed at least fifty.
"Lockbourne Air Base is situated near Columbus; they have recently gotten in cameras that are capable of photographing them. This could have something to do with their appearance in such numbers."
"Have you ever read the book 'A Dweller On Two Planets'? The last few pages of it could most definitely be connected with what is to come soon. On page 417 it reads: '........But as the Poseid age was stricken, this one must also be which has just passed. Shall America, the Glorious, together with the rest of the world, meet similar woe? Alas, worse, though not by water but by fire. Shall all be wiped out of existence, leaving a planet in ruins? Unto the end of full obedience and the coming into harmony with divine law shall the lash be applied; words may not portray the scenes. This is the Message of the End of the Age.'

'The Hour hath struck. And yet in all of this there is no mystery, no supernatural penalty, no capricious infliction by an offended personal God, and nothing of "Man's necessity, God's opportunity". It is all of man's own doing. He hath wandered from the Way, and hath for the God-nature in him, which he should have revered and nourished, substituted worship of Self and of Mammon; hath cast out Love, and placed violence, lust, greed, and all the riotous animalism in him in command of his life. Man is his own judge and executioner, etc.". . . .

"I wish to quote now from 'The Solar System' by Arthur Powell - p.96 - 'Just as every general officer has, quite apart from the regular officers who hold various commands under him, a special set of officers who form his staff, whose duty it is to be in personal attendance upon him, and to be ready at any moment to do anything that he may require, or to fill any Vacancy that may occur, so the Solar Logos also has His staff -- a number of Adepts who are not in the service of any particular Chain, yet are ever prepared to be sent to the aid of any who need assistance. Members of the staff thus give themselves to the immediate service of the Logos, to be used by Him in any part of the Solar System, His servants and MESSENGERS, living but to carry out His will and to do His work over the whole System which He rules.
'To join the staff is one of the seven possibilities open to man who has "Reached the further shore". It seems to be considered a very hard path, perhaps the greatest sacrifice open to the Adept, and is therefore regarded as carrying with it great distinction.
'A member of the General Staff has no physical body, but makes one for himself by Kriyashakti -- the 'power to make' -- of the matter of the globe to which he is sent. The Staff contains beings at very different levels, from that of Arhatship upwards'.
"Regarding Release 12-A-52" -- Comments by the Mark Probert Controls -- where Natalli says: 'With proper instruments you can cross the wave lines at the high point of the wave. All waves are moving in curved lines. When you do this, you can move a ship or any object in space at the speed of light, or at any other speed desired, greater [20] or less.' -- This had something to do with the dream I had in which I seemed to know so much about this instrument called the 'declachron' ---- It also had to do with what The Secret Doctrine calls the LAYA centers. I believe these Laya centers could be the high points referred to, and this declachron (could be) the instrument that is capable of measuring for Laya centers. (I could be entirely wrong, of course.) -- Perhaps you could ask Natalli.
"Page 203 Adyar edition "The Secret Doctrine" -- I find: '..... A 'neutral center' is, in one aspect, the limiting point of any given set of senses. Thus, imagine two consecutive planes of matter; each of these corresponding to an appropriate set of perceptive organs. We are forced to admit that between these two planes of matter an incessant circulation takes place; and if we follow the atoms and molecules of, say, the lower in their transformation upwards, they will come to a point where they pass altogether beyond the range of the faculties we are using on the lower plane. In fact, for us the matter of the lower plane there vanishes from our perception --- or rather, it passes on to the higher plane, and the state of matter corresponding to such a point of transition must certainly possess special, and not readily discoverable, properties.
"These neutral zones are the Laya centers. This could be the key to the fourth dimension. Going back to the point from which the line of the first dimension is formed the point could become the (laya center). Of course this is just an idea. I am only scratching the surface of occultism."
